Our Story

At Beach Made Easy, we believe in the trip, not the destination. While at times life can be fast-paced, stressful, and chaotic, life at the beach is meant to be simple. It should be easy. With this in mind, we set out to create a company centered upon individualizing every customer experience. BeMe fosters this mentality to build authentic relationships and establish a sense of community that is unlike any other.

From a spontaneous idea that started locally on the beaches of 30A, to now a fully functioning small business, our mission to cultivate a feeling of family has remained at our core. Whether it be through around the clock availability or personal visits to our customers on the beach, everything we do at BeMe centers around this goal.

Now is the time to sit back, enjoy a drink, and soak in the beautiful beaches of 30A. With us, you are not just another number - you are family.

From growing up in small-town Ohio to walking-on to Miami University's football team to earning a degree from the Farmer School of Business, the values of grit, authenticity, and compassion have always remained at my core. Through these values, I have found that building real relationships and serving others are what truly fufill me.

The mission of Beach Made Easy is built upon the message conveyed above. At BeMe, we foster a personalized environment that allows for our customers to create memories that will last forever. Allow me to lessen the hassle and cater to your needs, giving you more time to spend with those you love.

Life is multiplied when in the company of great friends and family, and I would be honored to play a small part in helping to create the perfect environment for you. Until then, keep enjoying the journey. See you on the beach!

Born in Buffalo, NY and raised in 4 states…. I now call 30A “home”, although it’s more like heaven for me and my family. So, from a crazy thought, to a vision, to a reality… BeMe was brought to life.

The idea that was formulated on the beaches of 30A that we now service centers upon locals, vacationers, and families with second homes having a need that was not being met. Not just a need to be supplied with beach chairs and umbrellas, but a desire to not be just another number. They command personal attention and customer service.

I am married to Robin who brought two children into my and Adam's life. We enjoy traveling, great food, better wine, snowboarding, and tacos. We love music and are inspired by the way it can move one’s soul. Our Faith is the at the center of our core and we realize with Him all things are possible.

That mentality is the foundation of BeMe. I look forward to providing unmatched service, a premium product, and an experience that exceeds expectations. So, as Bear our Director of Treats says…. “keep snacking” and enjoy 30A. It truly is a special place.

Hi, I’m Bear. At least that’s my new name. You see, I was abandoned and on my own for quite a while until one day my parents found me at the shelter. I have no idea why they picked me, but boy am I glad!

I am obsessed with treats - I love all kinds. The bacon jerky is my favorite unless they bring me steak. I lose my mind if I know I’m getting steak, especially steak from Jeff Ruby’s. If you’ve never had it... you have no idea what you are missing. Google it!

Anyway, we found this amazing area on 30A a few years back, and I started making the road trip down every time. It’s a long drive, but I love the car. I like staring out the window, making pit stops, and listening to some good tunes. For whatever reason, country music always sounds a little better on 30A. Kenny, Thomas, Chris and Luke are some of my favorites.

When my brother told me him and dad were opening a beach chair and umbrella business on 30A I was beyond excited. I am really pumped to meet all of our customers and help my family create the best experience possible. So, until we meet... keep on snacking! Life is better on 30A.

The Station

“Tucked away in our subconscious minds is an idyllic vision. We see ourselves on a long, long trip that almost spans the continent. We’re traveling by passenger train, and out the windows we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hills, of biting winter and blazing summer and cavorting spring and docile fall.

But uppermost in our minds is the final destination. On a certain day at a certain hour we will pull into the station. There will be bands playing, and flags waving. And once we get there so many wonderful dreams will come true. So many wishes will be fulfilled and so many pieces of our lives finally will be neatly fitted together like a completed jigsaw puzzle. How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes for loitering … waiting, waiting, waiting, for the station.

However, sooner or later we must realize there is no one station, no one place to arrive at once and for all. The true joy of life is the trip. The station is only a dream. It constantly outdistances us.

“When we reach the station that will be it!” we cry. Translated it means, “When I’m 18, that will be it! When I buy a new 450 SL Mercedes Benz, that will be it! When I put the last kid through college, that will be it! When I have paid off the mortgage, that will be it! When I win a promotion, that will be it! When I reach the age of retirement, that will be it! I shall live happily ever after!”

Unfortunately, once we get it, then it disappears. The station somehow hides itself at the end of an endless track.

Relish the moment” is a good motto, especially when coupled with Psalm 118:24: “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” It isn’t the burdens of today that drive men mad. Rather, it is regret over yesterday or fear of tomorrow. Regret and fear are twin thieves who would rob us of today.

So, stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead, climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot oftener, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more and cry less. Life must be lived as we go along.

The station will come soon enough.”
